M1 Garand

The M1 Garand (rhymes with errand) was the standard issue US service rifle during WWII and the Korean War with limited use during Vietnam. It was the first standard issue semi-automatic military rifle, replacing the bolt-action M1903 Springfield in 1936 and itself replaced by the selective fire M14 in 1958.

Surfite

Surfite is layers of resin that accumulate on the floor of a surfboard shop during the glassing process. Once too much builds up they break it off to clear the floor. No two pieces are ever alike.

Moldavite

Undoubtedly the rarest gemstone on the planet, moldavite was formed about 15 million years ago from a meteorite impact around Southern Germany. Moldavite was found in the Venus of Willendorf archeological site, the oldest known goddess statue, and is linked to legends of the Holy Grail; thought to be an emerald from the sky that fell from Lucifer's crown before he was cast from Heaven.
